Ms. Somaia Al Kendi

Somaia Al Kendi is Director of the General Foundation Program at Buraimi University College (BUC), Oman, and a PhD candidate in Higher Education at Lancaster University, UK. Her research explores the integration of research-based learning into curricula to foster student inquiry, critical thinking, and institutional improvement. Her academic interests include formative assessment, flipped learning, and the development of research-based learning in higher education. She is actively involved in promoting research-based approaches within the foundation program.
