
Dr. Candice Quiñones

Dr. Candice Quiñones has recently earned her doctoral degree in Teaching and Learning with an Emphasis in Adult Education. Her dissertation was titled “Inclusive Materials and Accommodations for Postsecondary English Language Learners with Visual Impairments.” She has her Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language and also holds dual undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees in Special Education for the Visually Impaired and Elementary Education. Dr. Quiñones currently serves as the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, USA. In addition to her titular role, she also teaches courses for English language learners and a course for the Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages minor called “Studies in Language Learning and Teaching.” She has been teaching postsecondary English language learners in the United States since 2007. Dr. Quiñones’ research interests lie in exploring the intersection of language learning and disability.
