Dr. Carmen Silvia Motta Bandini

Carmen Silvia Motta Bandini is a Brazilian researcher and professor with distinguished work in the fields of Psychology, Education, and Health Education. She holds a degree in Psychology and a PhD in Philosophy from the Federal São Carlos University, where she developed an academic career focused on the study of Behavior Analysis and the processes of teaching and learning. She is currently a full professor at the State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas, where she participates in postgraduate programs such as the Professional Master’s in Health Teaching and Technology and the Master’s in Special Education. She is also a Behavior Analyst accredited by the Brazilian Association for Behavioral Sciences. Her research focuses on the programming of teaching skills and on the development of reading and writing, contributing to the training of professionals and to the advancement of evidence-based educational practices. Throughout her career, she has received academic recognition, including the Academic Stars Award in 2023.
