Prof. Heloisa Helena Motta Bandini

Heloisa Helena Motta Bandini is a researcher and professor at the State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas (UNCISAL), working in the fields of Special Education, Audiology, and Public Health. She holds a degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the São Paulo University and completed both her PhD and postdoctoral research in Special Education at the Federal São Carlos University. She is a full professor at UNCISAL and teaches in the Professional Master’s programmes in Health Teaching and Technology and in Special Education, contributing to the training of researchers and health professionals. Her research focuses on reading and writing processes and on educational inclusion. Throughout her career, she received the Certificate of Excellence in Audiology (2013) awarded by the Brazilian Audiology Academy. She has also held prominent positions in academic management and health services, including coordinating the Specialised Rehabilitation Centre at UNCISAL and serving as a Special Advisor to the State Secretariat of Health of Alagoas.
