Prof. Dr. Diego Piau

Prof. Diego Piau holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UFU, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro. He is also completing a Postgraduate program in Leadership and Innovation at Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Since 2014, he has been an Associate Professor at UFU, teaching engineering courses and conducting research in Mobile Communications, University Extension, Public Policy, among other areas. His current focus is coordinating extension projects in partnership with various organizations, a role he has performed for over 10 years, emphasizing human development and training. His visit to Lisbon aims to share these experiences, engage with universities, and establish new partnerships for bilateral cooperation projects.
