Dr. Michael Flannery

Dr. Michael Flannery works as Assistant Professor with the School of Arts Education and Movement (SAEM) at the Institute of Education (IOE), Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. He currently teaches on the Bachelor in Education degree programme at DCU. Dr. Michael has worked as Head of Department and external examiner for other universities. He was a research fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Prior to lecturing, he worked as a primary (elementary) school teacher. His research interests concern visual arts integration, creativity, inclusion and S-STEP related research.
