Dejan Zemljak obtained his master’s degree from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Uninversity of Maribor, Slovenia, where he is currently completing his PhD and working as an assistant researcher. His research focuses on the intersection of education, artificial intelligence, and environmental sustainability. He is particularly interested in the integration of AI technologies - especially humanoid robots - into educational settings to support innovative learning approaches. His work also addresses how intelligent systems can raise ecological awareness and contribute to a more sustainable society.
The article he is presenting, as well as his attendance at this conference, are funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, co-funded by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the project Proposal for Pilot Projects at the University of Maribor for a Green and Resilient Transition to Society 5.0.
